The Kansas Hospital Association names the CEO of the Neosho Regional Medical Center in Chanute as the winner of the 2024 Charles S. Billings Award.
Dennis Franks has served as the CEO at Neosho Regional Medical Center since 2006. He has also served as CEO of two hospitals in Oklahoma and as administrator/commander for the U.S. Air Force in San Antonio.
The KHA says Franks' commitment and excellence in healthcare has made an impact on the communities in which he has served.
The Charles S. Billings Award, named after the association’s first president, was created in 1971 to recognize distinguished service and outstanding contributions to the field of health care in Kansas. Franks is the 44th recipient of this award and has demonstrated these qualities during his 43 year health care career.
