Two people are arrested on charges of child endangerment in Crawford County.

 

 The Crawford County Sheriff's Office responded on Wednesday to the request for a welfare check on a residence in McCune. An investigation led to the arrest of 42-year-old Clayton Hiben and 48-year-old Athena Siu, both of McCune. The two were booked into the Crawford County Jail for child endangerment and interference with law enforcement.

 

Four children were taken from the home and placed in protective custody. They were late released to relatives.

 

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
