Winners in last night's election include for the District 2 Kansas Congressional seat, Derek Schmidt for the Republicans.

 

 Schmidt thanked voters and says now is the time for his party to come together.

 

Schmidt also emphasized his campaign pledge to tackle immigration, inflation, and government intrusion into the lives of Kansans.

 

Schmidt moves on to face Democrat Nancy Boyda in the general election.
