Accident on I-70 Leaves One Dead, Two Seriously Injured

 

 An accident on I-70 near Junction City leaves one man dead and two others seriously injured.

 

 The accident happened around 3:30 yesterday afternoon when 72-year-old Robert Cleveland of Junction City was traveling westbound in a 1996 Toyota Tacoma. Cleveland's vehicle blew a tire on the front driver side, causing him to veer into the oncoming lane of traffic. He collided head-on with a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport driven by 46-year-old Robert George of Fowler, Colorado. George, along with his passenger 48-year-old Crystal Cloninger of Canyon City, Colorado, both sustained serious injuries and were taken to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Junction City. Cleveland was killed in the crash. All three were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
