Firefighters and Fire Departments across the state of Kansas honor a fallen brother.

 

 The City of Wichita paid respects on Saturday to fallen firefighter Ty Voth as his body was transferred from the Sedgwick County Forensic Science Center to Resthaven Mortuary.

 

Voth died in the line of duty last week while assisting at a fire in Haysville.

 

Voth was 27 years old and a five year veteran of the Wichita Fire Department. He is the first line of duty death for Wichita Fire since 2011.
