Traffic on U.S. 75 north of Independence is reduced to one lane.

According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, the lane reduction is at the north Independence city limit. The city is widening a short section of highway at this location. Drivers can expect brief delays during weekday daylight hours. The width restriction on this portion of 75 is currently limited to 11 feet.
