A Bartlesville man faces charges of stealing security bonds in 2010.
47-year-old Deece Carter appeared in Washington County District Court yesterday to face the charges stemming from an investigation that began on July 29th.
Carter is accused of contacting the victim in the case via social media and telling the person he had located and possessed the bond. He then allegedly offered what he called a “finder's fee” for the bond.
The bond was recovered from Carter's residence. He has been charged with a misdemeanor in the case.
