A southeast Kansas baseball team is headed to the Little League Regional Championship tournament in hopes of moving on to the Little League World Series.
The Riverton 12 and Under All-Star baseball team is on its way to compete for the Little League Regional Championship.
As the Kansas state champions, are on their way to Indianapolis to take part in the eight team, double elimination tournament for the region. The winner of this tournament will advance to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Their first game will be tomorrow (Friday) at noon against Iowa and will be stream on ESPN+.
