Yesterday's high at the Coffeyville Airport was measured at 100 degrees. Excessive heat warnings continue today for southeast Kansas and portions of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. A heat advisory will be in effect today for the rest of the four states. Temperatures are expected to cool slightly this weekend, with highs in the mid-90s and lows in the low 70s before increasing once again next week.
