Students in USD 446 in Independence take a step closer to the new school year.
Central registration takes place today and tomorrow at Independence High School. This is the final step in registration for students for the upcoming school year. Parents should have already had the chance to finish the online part of the process. However, for those who have not completed the online part of registration, computers will be available for that purpose. Director of learning Services Kellie Puderbaugh says the purpose of central registration is to simplify the process for parents.
Puderbaugh adds that those who are new to the district will need to bring birth certificates and immunization records as well. Central registration takes place from noon to 7pm today and from 9am to 6pm tomorrow.
