Eleven animals are seized while executing a search warrant in rural Montgomery County. Sheriff deputies executed the warrant at 109 East Bell Street in Wayside in connection with an animal cruelty investigation.

Nine dogs and two horses were removed from the property, all exhibiting signs of malnourishment and injuries. Undersheriff Chris Williams says deputies took custody of the animals and arranged for their treatment by a local veterinarian.

The animals were then transported to a predetermined location for continued care. This case remains under investigation, and further details will be provided as they become available.
