The Parsons Police Department is hosting a community forum tomorrow (tonight) at the Parsons High School Theater.

 Parsons residents are invited to learn more about their police department at this event. The forum will be moderated by Police2Peace.org. That group is providing funding to train members of the Parsons Police Department in techniques in de-escalation and outreach in an effort to increase two-way communication between police and the public. Police2Peace is funded through the U.S. Department of Justice.

The community is invited to attend the forum on Tuesday night at 6pm at 3030 Morton street in Parsons.
