There are lots of activities happening in downtown Independence Saturday morning.

 

 The Farmer's Market will be up and running and the sidewalk sale will also be going on. Residents and visitors will also have another chance to donate to “Stuff the Bus.” Independence Chamber President Lisa Wilson says it's a great chance to help out the city's school kids.

 

Stuff-the-Bus Organizer Andy Taylor says kids who are prepared for school are more engaged and students who are engaged with learning perform better.
