The Kansas Bureau of Investigation arrests a man who fired multiple shots in a Minneapolis, KS, park.
On Wednesday, July 24, 2024 around 11:30am Wichita Police arrested 46-year-old Artemas Thor Peck of Minneapolis as he was released from Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Peck was taken into custody on an Ottawa County warrant for attempted capital murder and attempted second-degree murder stemming from a June 22nd incident near the Minneapolis swimming pool. Peck is accused of firing a gun at officers during the incident in which he was shot by Kansas highway Patrol Troopers.
He was transported to the Mitchell County Jail in Beloit.
