The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics along with other state and local law enforcement agencies conduct a raid on a large marijuana trafficking operation in southern Oklahoma.
The raid happened Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at a location near Ardmore as a part of an ongoing investigation into out-of-state black market marijuana trafficking. Investigators discovered the farm was selling as much as one thousand pounds of marijuana at a time to buyers who were then transporting the product to places like New York City, Chicago, and parts of Florida.
Agents seized more than 100,000 marijuana plants and over 1,000 pounds of processed marijuana. Officers also arrested 34-year-old Wen Bin Huang (Win Ben Wang) and 38-year-old Wen Zhang Huang (Win Zang Wang) on multiple charges including Aggravated Trafficking of Marijuana.
Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond called the raid significant.
