The Candidate Forum for Montgomery County offices takes place tonight in Independence.
The forum will last about 90 minutes with each set of candidates answering questions in 30 minute segments. Independence Chamber President Lisa Wilson says the questions for candidates come from voters.
The forum will begin with County Clerk Candidates Misty Wilson and Ami Standridge at 5:30, followed by County Commission District 2 candidates Charlotte Scott-Schmidt and Phil Clubine at 6, the County Sheriff Candidates Ron Wade and Bobby Dierks at 6:30. The forum takes place at the Civic Center in Memorial Hall in Independence. It will also be broadcast live on the Mighty 690 KGGF.
