Residents of Montgomery County will have the chance to hear from candidates for county offices tomorrow night.

 

 The City of Independence along with the Independence Chamber of Commerce and Women of Kansas are hosting a candidate forum tomorrow night for candidates running for Montgomery County Offices.

 

Participating candidates will include:

 

For County Clerk: Sueann Schenk-Friesen, Misty Wilson, and Ami Standridge

 

For County Commission District 2: Charlotte Schott Schmidt, Phil Clubine, and Larry McManus

 

And for County Sheriff : Ron Wade and Bobby Dierks

 

Moderating the event will be Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Public Affairs Anthony Vaughn.

 

The forum takes place in the Civic Center at Memorial Hall in Independence and it begins at 5:30pm

 

The candidate forum will also be broadcast live on the Mighty 690, KGGF.
