A Benedict man is injured following a single vehicle accident in Wilson County.
52-year-old Maurice Heskett sustained minor injuries yesterday after a single vehicle accident that occurred on K-39 just west of Chanute. Heskett was traveling eastbound on K-39 when his 2017 Ford F-250 went off the road and into the ditch. His vehicle then struck a telephone pole and then a bridge culvert. Heskett was taken to Neosho Memorial Hospital in Chanute where he was treated for his injuries.
