The Derek Schmidt for Congress Campaign announces five people to serve as campaign chairs in Montgomery County.

 Schmidt has chosen Mike Ewy, Jim Kelly, Nancy and Jason Moore, and Marty Reichenberger. Schimdt says he is grateful for the local help with his campaign.

As the former Kansas Attorney General and Independence native, Schmidt is running for the Congressional seat in Kansas' 2^nd District. He says he is running to focus on what he calls the three “I's”: illegal immigration, inflation, and the intrusion of big government in the lives of citizens.
