A Texas man is seriously injured in a single vehicle accident in Coffeyville.

 58-year-old Michael Bowers of Porter, Texas, was northbound on Willow Street in Coffeyville just before 11am on Friday when his Dodge Ram Pickup went off the roadway to the east, striking multiple mailboxes. The vehicle came back on the roadway briefly before leaving the street once again, this time to the west, where it then struck a tree in the 400 block of Willow. Bowers was taken to Coffeyville Regional Medical Center for treatment. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
