Two northwest Arkansas high school seniors bring home perfect scores on their ACT tests.
Taylor Conran and Miles Batson – both of whom will be seniors at Farmington high School, just west of Fayetteville – each scored a 36 composite score on the ACT. That is the highest score possible on the test. Most ACT takers score between 17 and 24.
Conran was the first to earn the high score, prompting his friend Batson to work hard to earn the same honors.
Both boys take part in other school activities besides academics. Batson has starred in the high school musical while Conran plays football and also plays guitar and piano.
Batson hopes to attend the University of Arkansas to pursue a political career after graduation while Conran has his sights set on Brigham Young
