The mother of a man accused of killing his wife is arrested in Missouri.

 Heather McJunkins, was arrested on Tuesday in Carthage on felony charges of interfering with an active criminal investigation and concealing or destroying evidence. McJunkins' son Gavino Macias is accused of killing his wife Kenia Lopez inside a camper near Louisburg, Kansas, in June. Macias remains in the Miami County Jail in Kansas. His mother, McJunkins, is currently being held in the Jasper County Jail where she awaits extradition to Kansas.
