The Parsons Police Department is asking the public for their input on public safety and policing.
Residents are asked to fill out a 19 question survey about resident thoughts and exepriences with the P-P-D. The survey is voluntary, anonymous and takes less than five minutes to complete.
Chief Robert Spinks calls the survey an important tool in helping P-P-D understand how their mission and values align with community expectations. The survey is funded by a grant from the US Department of Justice, the Bureau of Justice Assistance, and covers topics like personal experiences, comfort levels, police protection, officer training, and department visibility.
