A 30-year-old Sand Springs man is dead after a single vehicle motorcycle crash in Mayes County, Oklahoma.

 The accident occurred early yesterday morning when Cale Turner lost control of his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle while traveling along New Prue Road. The cycle veered off of the roadway into the ditch. Turner was transported to St. John's Hospital in Tulsa where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
