The 8th Annual Summer Celebration is in the books, and organizers are happy with the results.
Walter Johnson Park became increasingly busy during the late afternoon and evening for the fireworks, but Organizer Gail Smith says he's pleased with the day's full lineup of events.
Coffeyville Municipal Band Director Dr. David Wiggins says their morning concert went well.
Wiggins also says the band is looking for more venues for additional future concerts.
The morning car show also brought out a good crowd according to organizer Curtis Foster.
The evening culminated with a fireworks show that lasted around 30 minutes. Next year's Summer Celebration will take place on July 12th at Walter Johnson Park in Coffeyville.
