Local fire departments had multiple calls over the weekend.

 

Early Saturday morning around 2:15, the Dearing Fire Department was called to assist Liberty Fire with a fully-involved garage fire north of the Coffeyville refinery.

 

Later that morning just after 4 a.m., a fully-involved house fire at 112 Hill Street in Dearing was reported with possible entrapment, and several units from the Dearing Fire Department responded to the scene. The occupant made it out of the house with minor injury. Units assisting during the morning included the Coffeyville Fire Department, South Coffeyville Fire Department, Tyro Rural Fire Dept, Independence KS Rural Fire Department, Coffeyville Resources Fire Department, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and the Coffeyville Police Department.
