It's time for Coffeyville's 8th Annual Summer Celebration.
It happens Saturday at Walter Johnson Park starting a 8am. Event Organizer Gail Smith says there will be lots of family fun. In addition to live music and the kiddie car show, there will be plenty of vendors, games for the kids, and plenty for the grown-ups, too. Plus, the largest fireworks show in southeast Kansas. Smith says everything at Summer Celebration except for what the vendors sell, is free. Smith does warn that there have been some scammers trying to charge vendors and others for the event.
Join the fun Saturday starting at 8am until the fireworks end at Walter Johnson Park in Coffeyville.
