The Kansas Department of Transportation announces railroad work to begin near Columbus starting on Monday.

 BNSF Railway will begin work on the railroad crossing on US-69 just south of the Columbus city limits. US-69 will be closed at the work zone and traffic will follow a posted detour. The work is expected to take three days.
