The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is offering a new program for homeowners.

 The new Home Away program will offer enhanced security for homeowners who are away on vacation. Residents will be able to request extra patrols around their homes while they are away.

The purpose of the program is to deter criminal activity while providing residents added peace of mind.
