The Cherryvale Youth Fair continues today with a full lineup of activities.
Today exhibitors can enter both inside and livestock exhibits starting at 8 AM. Inside exhibits must be entered by 11 a.m.
Dr. Paul Cotterill will be available for vet checks from 8 to 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 to 6 p.m. All livestock must have vet checks or health papers.
Matt Jordan will have coverage of the youth fair this morning from 10 to noon on US 98 with some updates during Open Line as well. The remote is sponsored by Frontier Farm Credit in Parsons, Triple D Seed in Coffeyville, Dr. Hailey Mueller Veterinary Service, Community National Band & Trust in Cherryvale and Newton's True Value Hardware in Cherryvale.
A new activity this year is yard games will be available for all exhibitors to play from 1 to 4 p.m.
Wilson Medical Center will be passing out cool treats at 7 PM, and the market beef weigh in will be 7 pm as well.
The auction of exhibitors baked goods starts at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds from the auction helps pay for exhibitor's premium money, ribbons, judges and other fair expenses. The fair is located in Logan Park and runs through Saturday.
