A child is dead following a holiday car accident.

 A four-year old girl has died in fatal one-vehicle collision that occurred around 6:45 pm yesterday, 2 miles west of Claremore in Rogers County. OHP reports that a 2018 GMC Yukon driven by 43-year-old Jason Schroeder, of when the crash took place. He sustained no injuries. Thea 4-year-old girl was a passenger in the vehicle and was transported to Hillcrest in Claremore where she was pronounced deceased upon arrival due to injuries sustained in the collision.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
