The Fredonia City Commission makes quick work of a brief agenda during the holiday week.
At this week's meeting, Mayor Allen Miller and Commissioner Bill Jones quickly got to work on the city's business. Commissioner Brandon Tindle was not present. The commission approved the consent agenda and then set to appoint a new Zoning Administrator. The position was left vacant following the departure of City Administrator Wesley Young. City Clerk Kelly Bogner then volunteered to take over as Acting Zoning Administrator.
The Zoning Administrator's job is to coordinate zoning ordinances with the enforcement of other related land-use statutes and codes. Following the unanimous vote, Mayor Miller then adjourned the meeting. The next Fredonia city Commission meeting will be July 17th at 5:30 at City Hall.
