The Midland Theater Foundation is gearing up for another edition of “Vaude in the Ville” and you can be a part of it.
Auditions are now open for volunteer performers to be a part of the show. Midland Board Member Wyatt Starnes says he hopes lots of new faces can be involved this year.
Those interested in being a part of this year's show can submit a short video audition that fits the vaudeville theme. Upbeat songs or short comedy skits are among a few recommendations. Videos should be uploaded as “unlisted” to YouTube and links should be sent to info@historicmidlandtheater.org by Monday, July 8th. Rehearsals will take place on August 9th, and 10th.
Tickets to the show are $30 each and the performance will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 10th in the Spencer Rounds Theatre on the CCC campus. Vaude in the Ville serves as the Midland's primary yearly fundraiser for its operations fund.
