It's officially time for fireworks in Coffeyville.
Between now and July 4th, fireworks can be sold and discharged between 8 a.m. and midnight each day. According to the city, bottle or sky rockets cannot be sold or discharged in the city limits. In addition, fireworks can't be shot off in public streets, alleys or parks. Fireworks are also not allowed in the downtown business district or within 100 feet of a fireworks stand. It's also unlawful to throw fireworks in the direction of any animal, person or vehicle.
