An Ark City Man faces charges after being arrested for causing four accidents on the same night.
On May 25th, the Ark City Police Department received multiple reports of a reckless driver in a gray Ford pickup truck striking several vehicles and objects and then fleeing the scene.
Officers located the vehicle and arrested the driver – 21-year-old Gunner Cravens – who they suspected was intoxicated. It was later discovered that Cravens was involved in an accident involving three other vehicles, a different accident involving another vehicle and a mailbox, yet another accident with a different mailbox, and a fourth accident with a mailbox and a tree.
Cravens faces charges of driving under the influence and three counts of duty to report or give aid. He is being held in the Cowley County Jail on a $1,200 bond.
