An Oklahoma man is arrested in Cherokee County for a burglary at a church.
Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a reported burglary in progress at a church near Melrose in Southwest Cherokee County yesterday afternoon. Upon arrival, deputies found 52-year-old Aaron Cole, of Weatherford, who had entered the church through a broken window.
During the investigation, Cole was found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Cherokee County Jail where he is being held on allegations of burglary, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
