A 24-year-old Girard man is dead after his motorcycle strikes a deer.
Tyler Lee Watson was riding a 2005 Honda motorcycle southbound on 270th Street near 690th Street or about 2 miles south of Arcadia on Wednesday. At around 5:45am, a deer entered the roadway from the west ditch into the motorcycle's path. Watson was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crawford County EMS, Arma Fire, and the Girard Police Department assisted with the accident.
