Oklahoma veterans are invited to a free camp out this Saturday night in McAlester.

 

 The event is hosted by State Representative David Smith and is open to any Oklahoma veteran and their family members or supporters. Keynote speakers are Brigadier General chirstopher Eason with the Oklahoma National Guard and Colonel Chris Kanndy, who serves as the Deputy State Staff Judge Advocate for the Oklahoma Air National Guard and who also serves as a state representative.

 

Lunch and dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday will be provided. Entertainment is planned for Saturday night as well as activities and prizes throughout the camp out. Tent camping is encouraged. RV spots are limited and are first-come, first-served.
