This is the weekend for Kansans who want to try their hand at fishing.

 

 According to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, Kansas residents can fish without a license on public waters this Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2. Other fishing regulations like length and creel limits still apply.
