Former Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt signs the U.S. Term Limits Pledge.

 Schmidt, who is running in the Republican primary for Kansas' Second Congressional District, becomes the only one of three candidates on the Republican side to sign the pledge. Schmidt says Kansas voters should be able to voice their opinion on the issue.

Schmidt is joined in the Republican primary by Jeff Kahrs and Shawn Tiffany. The Kansas primary is set for August 6^th.
