An error on the agenda causes confusion at this week's Osage County Commission meeting.

 At the final meeting of each month, there is normally an agenda item that reads “Audit and allow purchase orders for payment and payroll for payment.” At this week's meeting, the item only read “ Audit and allow purchase orders for payment,” causing some concern that the omission could cause a delay in paychecks for county employees.

The agenda item was approved, but, after the meeting adjourned, there was some confusion as to whether an emergency meeting should be called to approve an amended version of the item.

If commissioners had not approved the flawed agenda item, a special meeting would have been needed to allow county employees to be paid.
