Area artists are invited to participate in the Verdigris Valley Art Exhibit coming up at the Independence Historical Museum and Art Center.
The exhibit will feature artwork by those age 18 and up. Organizer Eenie Fitzpatrick says entries begin next week in a variety of media.
Cash prizes will be given to 1st place and 2nd in each category, plus best in show and a people's choice prize. The exhibit will be on display from June 14th through the 27th.
