The event included a performance by the Coffeyville Municipal Band, prayers by State Senator Virgil Peck and Representative Ron Bryce, a military flyover by Vance Air Force Base, an Iwo Jima reenactment and honor guard presentation. Many got up early to help put up flags around the cemetery, and thanks to the effort of many the tradition is continuing. Committee members for the new Veteran's Court of Valor were selling tickets to a painting which is a fundraiser for the project. More information on that effort is available here.
