The ranking member of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee speaks on the Senate Floor to honor Memorial Day.

Senator Jerry Moran says on the last Monday in May, our nation sets aside the day to remember, honor and pay respect to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in our nation’s military.

Moran says how veterans are memorialized when they pass, sends a message to their families and current and future service members about how we value the past, present and future sacrifices made by those in military service.
