Practice Food Safety During Memorial Day Weekend

 

It's Memorial Day Weekend, which means many people will be taking their cooking from the kitchen to outside. Kansas State University Food Scientist Karen Blakeslee says food safety still needs to be a top priority.

 

Blakeslee says when you are grilling meats there are three temperatures to remember.  Blakeslee says using a food thermometer is the only way to make sure you’ve reached the recommended internal temperature.
