A Field Kindley student is awarded healthcare scholarship.
The Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Foundation awarded Field Kindley High School senior, Riley Wintjen, the Dr. Stephen Ellis Memorial Scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year. This scholarship is awarded each year to a Field Kindley High School senior who excels academically and is seeking a career in healthcare.
Wintjen is the daughter of Justin and Jennifer Winjten of rural Coffeyville. While at FKHS, she has participated in volleyball, softball, dance, cheer and Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Interact Club and Junior Advisory Council. This fall, Wintjen will attend Coffeyville Community College. Her future goals include studying kinesiology at a four-year university and becoming a physical therapist.
