The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says it has fired a trooper accused of sexual crimes.
Trooper Jackie Rhinehart has been charged with sexual battery and forcible sodomy following an incident that took place on March 7. According to a probable cause affidavit, on that date Rhinehart pulled over a semi for speeding on I-44 near Big Cabin in Craig County. The truck driver claims that Rhinehart forced her to perform sexual acts during the stop.
The OHP says the incident was discovered during a routine dash cam video check on March 13th. The OHP terminated Rhinehart's employment after an investigation by the agency's Criminal Investigation Unit and its Office of Professional Standards.
