The Osage Nation has allocated nearly $500,000 to help Barnsdall after the recent tornado.

 $120,000 will be used to help with immediate relief funds and an additional $350,000 will be used to help with Osage Nation Housing. These funds will assist the entire community of Barnsdall.

Assistant Principal Chief R.J. Walker declared a State of Emergency for the Osage Nation a day after the tornado hit Barnsdall. Additionally, the Osage Casino and Hotel provided rooms to those in need of a place to stay. That totaled an additional $16,000 in fees.
