New lighting is coming to a local highway interchange.
During the week of of June 3rd, the Kansas Department of Transportation will begin a project to install new light towers on the U.S. 400 and U.S. 75 interchange at Neodesha. The highway shoulders will be closed at the work zone with minimal effects to traffic. KDOT awarded the construction contract of $320,220 to Phillips Southern Electric Company Inc. of Wichita. Weather permitting, the work should be finished by late summer.
