Four County Mental Health is asking for more resources in Wilson County for the 2025 fiscal year.

 

Four County gave a presentation and budget request to the Wilson County Commission, providing a summary of services provided and the financial support needed to maintain those services.

 

Four County Executive Director Greg Hennen says one area that saw increased numbers was Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation.

 

The commissioners agreed to include Four County in the formal budget proposal in August, and ensured they will provide as much support as possible.

 

Additional items of business at this week's commission meeting was the approval of waiving landfill fees for a demolition project at 1008 Tank Avenue in Neodesha, as well as updates from Road and Bridge Director Kary Tatum, and Sheriff Jack Lucke.
